Brand Overview

HobbyKing is a brand, distributor, and online retailer of radio controlled hobby products.  Their retail lines consists of their own branded products "HK" as well as products from around the world such as Align, E-flite, and many more.

The HobbyKing brand, specifically, is made up of RC helicopter kits that are inexpensive replicas of the Align T-rex series of helicopters.  The products are marketed as having close to 100% parts interchangeability with the their respective Align products.  The low cost is achieved by working directly with the manufacturer and by using mostly plastic in their kits as opposed to metal.
